• Here is the 2019 Mercedes G-Wagen Caught Testing in Colorado [Video]

As many of you probably know, Colorado is a prime location for auto manufacturers to test their new vehicles. As it so happens, we are located in Colorado. As such, we are fortunate to see many of these prototype vehicles first-hand. However, we don’t always have time to be up in the mountains chasing these vehicles around. Luckily, we have awesome viewers like Seth Switch who are kind enough to send us some of their own spy photos and videos. Seth kindly provided us with these shots of the 2019 Mercedes G-Wagen testing in the mountains of Colorado.

The Mercedes G-Wagen has been an icon of the off-road world for some time now. It has always featured the same boxy design since its introduction in 1979. However, it seems that this new model may see some modern enhancements to its classic design. Underneath all the camouflage and cladding seems to be a new front fascia with some LED ‘halo’ style headlights. Plus, this prototype features a grill that is slightly different to the classic look of the G-Wagen.

Of course, not everything has changed. Largely, this model looks very similar to its long line of boxy, 4×4 predecessors. However, other than these spy shots, we really don’t know a whole lot about the 2019 Mercedes G-Wagen. For more information on this luxury SUV, be sure to stay tuned to TFLcar.

Again, very special thanks to Seth Switch for these awesome shots. If you manage to capture some spy shots of your own, and feel generous enough to share them with us, please send them in to info@tflcar.com and we may just feature them in a story!

    1. So for thirty year Benz hasn’t changed anything really on the g wagon, they say if not isn’t broke don’t fix it. We’ll fix this pos

    2. I love how Mercedes abides by the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” much like Toyota has done with the 4Runner. My question is, for 2019, will it finally see real front cupholders (the basketball net styled one doesn’t count)?
