Old vs New Pathfinder Drag Race

Earlier in the week, Andre and Nathan took two Nissan Pathfinders to the test track to see how they compare in a drag race. The older model is a 2008 that has the 4.0L V6. This engine makes 266 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission. This combination is only good for a combined 16 MPG.

By comparison, the new car has a 3.5L V6 that produces 284 horsepower 259 lb-ft of torque. Paired to a CVT sending power to all four wheels, the new Pathfinder gets 19/26/21 MPG (City/Highway/Combined). To see which car wins this old vs new drag race, be sure to watch the whole video.
