Buick Verano (2011 – 2017)
As with the ForTwo, you can partially blame Americans’ disdain toward small cars for the Verano’s demise. Buick’s decision to drop this model comes at a time where small sedans just aren’t popular anymore. Instead, small crossovers are eminently more appealing. In pursuit of attracting buyers into the Encore crossover, this car will disappear in 2017. This omission from Buick’s lineup leaves the brand without an entry-level sedan, but it’s not likely to suffer as a result.
