Smart ForTwo (Gasoline models; 2008 – 2017)
Small, cheeky, cute. These characteristics have made the Smart ForTwo a formidable city car for the better part of a decade. However, despite its ease of use in city traffic, the ForTwo isn’t well-suited to other facets of American life. Cheap gas and our desire for larger vehicles rule out gas-powered models as a sustainable proposition for Mercedes-Benz. However, the move toward electrification still makes the electric-drive version a contender on America’s city streets.
