Here It Is, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon
This morning, TFL reader BrianG sent along this photo of a barely camoed Wrangler Rubicon he snapped in Michigan. From the looks of it, the 4×4 looks very much like the old Rubicon JK from this angle, minus the LED light bar on the front fenders. Depending upon what camp you’re in, that’s either great [Why mess with a legend, right?] or a big yawner [We waited all this time for a new Wrangler that looks like the old Wrangler?!]
We’re months away from the Wrangler JL’s introduction at the Los Angeles Auto Show where we will find out for sure what’s new beyond a front end designed around FCA’s V6, a diesel variant, and a turbo 4-cylinder. Spy shots also captured an upgraded interior and news of a powered top. You can find a link to everything we know about the new JL model here.
Thanks to Brian for keeping us in the loop. And if you capture any spy shots of prototype vehicles, please do send them to us at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
