How about spotting not one, but two Mustang Bullitts as a pickup for a wet and dreary weekend?

Sometimes, you trudge and claw your way through the work week when, as the clock ticks down Friday afternoon, you finally make it to the weekend! There’s just one problem – it’s wet and dreary outside. Now, that may be a bummer for people looking to have some fun in the sun. But when Mother Nature doesn’t want to cooperate, at least we can take solace in appreciating some of mankind’s creations. Like the Ford Mustang Bullitt, for instance – as a TFLcar viewer spotted on I-275 in Michigan this past weekend. Here, we have an American spec Bullitt, followed by a European-spec (and right-hand drive, no less!) model cruising the freeways around Detroit.

Ford formally announced pricing for the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt last month. Finished in Dark Highland Green (as shown in the video below), this special-theme Mustang is available from Ford dealers from $47,495 here in the U.S. American-spec Bullitts produce 480 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque from a 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8. The European models, while sporting a similarly sized engine, make slightly less power. The special edition model celebrates the 50th anniversary of the eponymous film, starring Steve McQueen.

This is the one of the first times we’ve seen the uncovered 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt out in the wild. Many thanks to the TFLcar viewer who sent in this video!
