The single-seat. Infiniti Prototype 10 concept car will be revealed at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 23rd. This vehicle is significant not only for its sensual design and electric powertrain, it’s representative of Infiniti’s future mission statement: Infiniti intends to electrify all of its new production cars from 2021 onwards.

Last year, Infiniti debuted the Prototype 9 at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and it was one of the highlights of the event.

The retro-racer design and all-electric power-plant were lauded by the press. The Infiniti Prototype 10 concept car looks like something different altogether. Unlike the Prototype 9’s vintage looks, the Infiniti Prototype 10 looks like a future speedster.

Very cool.

“According to Karim Habib, INFINITI Executive Design Director the Prototype 10 echoes the layout and design of some of the most evocative car designs of all time, where power was celebrated through high-powered single-seat competition cars. The new concept speaks of an electrified future, something which is reflected in its form and details. It is appropriate that we found inspiration in an optimistic bygone era in which cars were characterised by the simple love of driving.”

We will be monitoring the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and will bring you updates as soon as possible. Stay tuned.

Speaking of Pebble Beach, did you know that way back in 2014, Team TFL drove a Tatra 603 from Prague in the Czech Republic, across the United States and ended up at a California concourse? It was a hell of an adventure!
