Toyota unveils a new special edition 4Runner at the Texas State Fair

For those who want their 4Runner to have a bit of luxury, the Limited was the top of the ladder. Now, however, you can take that a step further with the 2019 Toyota 4Runner Nightshade Edition. This special edition model uses the same powertrain as before, but packs some aesthetic customizations over the ordinary Limited model. The 4Runner Nightshade starts at $46,010 for a two-wheel drive version.

For that, you get a 4Runner Limited that’s been blacked out all around. That means black-accented front and rear bumper spoilers, mirrors, door handles, window moldings, rocker panels, door garnish, roof rails and badges. Toyota fits black chrome inserts into the grille, and they add more around the back on the exhaust tip. Black 20-inch wheels round out the exterior changes.

Inside, you get black interior trim as well. The steering wheel, center cluster, console panels, shift knob and door grips are all accented in black. Besides that, you still get all the comfort features you’d expect in the Limited. That means front and rear parking sonar, power-adjustable heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The 2019 Toyota 4Runner Nightshade Edition is available to order now. Stay tuned to TFLcar.com for more updates from the Texas State Fair. Check out TFLcar, TFLtruck and TFLnow for more videos from this year’s event.
