2020 Ford Mustang GT500 Spotted! Images Leaked from Dealer Meeting

Fully unveiled!

Instagram user @sinister_lifestyle posted some images of the 2020 Ford Mustang GT500 supposedly from a Ford Dealer Meeting in Detroit. It looks like a quick snap, but we can glean a few details from what we can see here.

What can we gather from this? Well, the front end is indeed as wide-mouthed as we gathered from the leaked images we have seen so far. However, we can also see a massive spoiler that sits on the trunk. It looks to have the same, or similar 7-spoke wheels as the GT350.

Ford already divulged that the new GT500 will boast over 700 horsepower earlier this year.  Later on, we happened upon rumors that it will use a supercharged 5.2-liter V8. While the normal Mustang’s engine mates to a 10-speed automatic, rumors suggest this version will sport a dual-clutch transmission.

Besides the engine and transmission rumors, it looks like the 2020 Ford Mustang GT500 (if this image is indeed real) sports massive Brembo breaks and a whopping rear spoiler on the decklid. There’s also a larger grille with a center-mounted Cobra emblem.

If this photo is real, hopefully we’ll hear more about the 2020 Ford Mustang GT500 soon. Stay tuned to TFLcar.com for more details!
