Should You Buy a 2019 Jeep Wrangler? Dude I Love or Hate My New Ride Ep.1

In this new video series, we’ll find out which cars to buy and avoid directly from their owners.

Should you buy a new Jeep Wrangler? While we can offer our own opinions on whether you should, there’s usually one issue. Unlike you guys out there in the car-buying public, we (usually) don’t have to live with new cars or trucks for an extended period of time. Such is the case with the new Jeep Wrangler JL. Since we don’t have one for longer than a couple weeks at a time, it’s tough to say whether a long-term buy is a good decision.

That’s where this new video series comes in. Welcome to “Dude, I Love (or Hate) My New Ride!” This series is aimed at getting opinions on recently purchased cars directly from the people who bought them. Today’s video comes from Brian, who just bought a new Jeep Wrangler JL. This one is a Wrangler with a difference, however.

Jeep Wrangler MOAB Edition spotted

This particular Wrangler is a 2019 two-door Rubicon with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and a six-speed manual transmission. The take rate on two-door models is fairly low compared to the four-door Unlimited. Among those, fewer still are bought with manual transmissions.

To that, Brian fitted his Wrangler JL with a Warn VR-Series winch, as well as a few other choice options. Check out the video above to see just how satisfied (or not) Brian is with his purchase.
