2019 Toyota RAV4 TFL Expert Buyer’s Guide: Which Version Is Right For You?

Whatever you're looking for, odds are one of the available trims has you covered

2019 Toyota RAV4 LE

$26,595 to $29,070 (depending on options)

As before, the base trim of the 2019 Toyota RAV4 is the LE. Even though it is the entry version, you still get a wide range of standard equipment. Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 comes standard, and includes a pre-collision braking system, Lane Departure Alert, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist. All models also come with 8 standard airbags. Base models start at $26,595 including a $1,095 destination fee. All-wheel drive costs $1,400 extra.

You get LED daytime running lights and Automatic High Beam headlights as standard, as well as remote keyless entry. Toyota offers auto up/down power windows on all four doors, as well as an Entune 3.0 audio system with six speakers and a 7.0-inch touchscreen. Toyota also provides power-folding mirrors on all models, including the LE. The front passengers get access to one USB port and one 120V power outlet, but that’s it.

Don’t expect too much else in the way of luxury, however. The LE gets only fabric seats, as well as 17-inch steel wheels and a basic day/night rearview mirror. You won’t get push button start here either, as that’s only available as standard equipment on XLE Premium and higher trims.

The LE comes in five no-cost exterior colors: Magnetic Gray Metallic (shown), Blue Flame, Super White, Midnight Black Metallic, Silver Sky Metallic. Ruby Flame Pearl is $395 extra. A Black fabric interior is available with all colors, while Toyota’s Nutmeg interior can only be paired with a white, black or red exterior.

Package options on the LE include:

  • Rear Cargo Area Cover: $90
  • Blind Spot Monitor w/ Rear Cross-Traffic Alert: $590
