2019 Toyota RAV4 TFL Expert Buyer’s Guide: Which Version Is Right For You?

Whatever you're looking for, odds are one of the available trims has you covered

2019 Toyota RAV4 Limited

$34,595 to $39,210 (depending on options)

Finally, at the top end of the 2019 Toyota RAV4 range, you reach the Limited. Here, you still get 8.6 inches of ground clearance and most of the bells and whistles you want. The Limited has 19-inch chrome-finished alloy wheels as standard, like the XLE Premium. The Limited also has a bespoke grille that sets it apart from the lesser trim levels.

Unlike all other trim levels, the Limited is the only trim where you can get puddle lights. The power tilt/slide moonroof comes back as standard equipment, and a power liftgate is still standard, as it is on all trim levels but the LE and XLE. However, you can choose to have a foot activated power liftgate, similar to what’s on the Ford Escape, as a package option. Like the Adventure, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 Limited also gets 8-way power adjustable driver’s seats as standard. Heated seats are also standard, unlike all other trim levels.

While this is the top trim, you can still get package options with the Limited trim. Those include (new features in each package are italicized):

  • Entune 3.0 Premium Audio w/ Dynamic Navigation: $580
    • 11 speaker premium audio system w/ subwoofer
    • Dynamic Navigation (w/ 3-year trial)
    • Apple CarPlay compatibility
  • Limited Grade Weather Package: $1,015
    • Heated leather-trimmed steering wheel
    • Perforated heated and ventilated front seats
    • Heated rear outboard seats
    • Rain-sensing windshield wipers w/ de-icer function
  • Limited Grade Advanced Technology Package w/ options: $1,605
    • Entune 3.0 Premium Audio system w/ Dynamic Navigation
    • Limited Grade Advanced Technology Package
      • Smart key proximity unlock system
      • Bird’s Eye View 360-degree camera
      • Qi-compatible wireless charging

The bundled cost to have all these options together on the 2019 Toyota RAV4 Limited adds $2,820 to the price. On this bells-and-whistles version, the top-end price (excluding accessories) stands at $39,210 — $100 less than a specced-out Adventure.
