Testing the BYTON M-BYTE luxury SUV in the Extreme Cold of Outer Mongolia

BYTON, an emerging EV automaker who’s in the final testing phase of the BYTON M-BYTE luxury SUV, released information about testing in Inner Mongolia. This testing in the extreme cold and rugged environment of Inner Mongolia is chronicled in photographs recently provided to us by BYTON.

The BYTON M-BYTE luxury SUV will square off against vehicles like the Tesla Model X, Audi E-tron and Mercedes-Benz EQC. They fully anticipate entering the world market, including North America by the end of 2019. According to BYTON, this vehicle will be competitive in every aspect right out of the box.

Regarding their testing methods in Mongolia, “During testing in Inner Mongolia, M-Byte engineering prototypes were driven for thousands of test miles on open roads and specifically prepared tracks. BYTON tested the vehicles in multiple categories, including durability and powertrain calibration, while also focusing on key performance indicators related to chassis, body structure, battery system, air conditioning system, and more.” – BYTON

The company, which has design centers and offices based in China, Hong Kong, Europe and the United States, has upper management who formally helmed BMW, Tesla, Google, and Apple.
