The all-new 2020 Ford Explorer is coming very soon! We will be driving it for the first time next week. The new Explorer is under a lot of pressure to succeed, and it has had a target on it’s back for quiet some time as the best-selling three-row crossover in the United States. Here is how it stacks up against the competition as far as popularity is concerned.

General Motors and Ford have switched to quarterly sales results reporting. We currently do not have their sales numbers for April and May 2019.
As far as Q1 2019 is concerned, the Explorer was still in the sales lead. However, the Toyota Highlander is very close in second place.
